BBC 50:50 - The Equality Project is searching for new voices to reflect BBC’s audiences. Their growing database of potential contributors will help BBC teams feature more diverse voices in their content and make it available to all BBC outlets and production teams. More info here
Refugee Festival Scotland Arts Open is a new initiative to help artists from refugee backgrounds show their work as part of Refugee Festival Scotland. The three successful artists will receive funding and support to present their work at a Refugee Festival Scotland event. The deadline for applications is 12 noon on Friday, 1 March. Apply here.

Kwisa- African Women in Scotland Association will be hosting an official parallel event at the United Nations 68th Commission on the Status of Women in partnership with University of Edinburgh and NHS Lothian. ‘Disrupting the Status Quo in Co-Creation for Women of African descent’ is going to feature a panel of community organisations, representatives from Scottish government, NHS and Academic institutions who have engaged in co- creation towards the advancement of women of African descent. ‘Dancing with Water’ is a unique film season showcasing contemporary Chinese women's cinema curated and programmed by Kiki Tianqi Yu, Senior Lecturer in Film at Queen Mary University of London, and Shan Tong, programmer for the Beijing International Short Film Festival(BISFF). The film season started on 11 February and will run through April 2024. More info here.
